The Health and Nutrition group has selected two topics to focus on for 2008-09;

1) Farm to School programs: How do we increase access to fresh, locally grown food in our pubic, private, and charter schools throughout the City and County?

2) Electronic Benefit Transer technology at local Farms Markets: How do we bring this technology to our local farmers markets to enable residents to use food stamp (SNAP) benefits to buy fresh, locally grown food produce?
