Panel Discussion and Meeting with The Food Trust

The Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Food Policy Coalition in partnership with the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods will be hosting a team from The Food Trust, a Philadelphia-based non-profit, this week in Cleveland.  The Food Trust has led work in Pennsylvania and nationally in support of healthy food financing and healthy food retail, including corner and convenience stores.  You can read more about their work here: http://thefoodtrust.org

As a part of their visit, we will be hosting a panel discussion and meeting with The Food Trust on Wednesday, December 17th from 9 – 10:30 am at the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods at Case Western Reserve University at 11000 Cedar Road in Cleveland (BioEnterprise Building – Ground Floor Conference Room).  Join us for this discussion as we learn more about The Food Trust’s work as well as current and new initiatives in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County focused on healthy retail and increasing healthier food options in corner and convenience stores.

**Parking is free for PRCHN guests. After you park, go to the security desk to receive a parking pass to display on your dashboard; let the guard know that you are attending a meeting with the PRCHN. Do not pay the meters outside. If the visitor lot is full, please pull into the gated lot and security staff will lift the gate.
