Integrating Food Assistance Programs at Farmers Markets in Ohio

There are several different food assistance programs offered to residents in Ohio including the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) monthly vouchers, the WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, and the Food Assistance Program, also known as SNAP.  This presentation provides information for market managers on the differences between these four food assistance programs and how to accept these different forms of assistance at farmers' markets in Ohio.  This presentation by Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is from the EBT at Farmers' Market Workshop at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health on February 25, 2011.
