City of Cleveland - Urban Agriculture Overlay District DRAFT

The Urban Agriculture Overlay District was introduced to Cleveland City Council as a measure that would allow for more intensive uses of urban agriculture in certain areas designated by the city.  The legislation is currrently pending before Cleveland City Council.

The City of Cleveland adopted regulations that permit the keeping of farm animals and bees in all zoning districts throughout the city.  This legislation describes the permitting regulations through the Cleveland Department of Public Health that apply to the licenses required for keeping livestock.
