2013 Produce Perks EBT Incentive Application

The FPC is currently accpeting applications for farmers' markets and farm stands in Cuayhgoa County to participate in the 2013 Produce Perks EBT Incentive. The program will kick off in May 2013 and run until April 2014 (or while funds last). Applications are due (preferably submitted by email) by Monday, March 25th.

Fruit and Vegetable Consumption Among Urban Gardeners in Cleveland

This presentation shares the results of a survey conducted by Dr. Punam Ohri-Vachaspati and Marisa Warrix of Ohio State Universoty Extension, Cuyahoga County in 1999-2000 of community gardeners in Cleveland.  Their research idenitifes the socio-economic background of Cleveland's community gardeners, fruit and vegetable consumption patterns among these residents, and common methods used for preparing fresh produce.

2013 Produce Perks transaction process and customer survey poster

Promotion poster used at each of the 22 farmers' market and farm stand locations' participating in the 2013 Produce Perks program. This poster walks customers through the transaction process as well as the point-of-transaction sruvey that market staff administer to guide of year-end reporting.

City of Euclid Resolution for Hen Pilot Program

Euclid City Council is considering a proposed resolution that would create a hen pilot program for five families to each raise a flock of 4 chickens.
