Urban Farmers: Apply for Hoop House funding through USDA's EQIP Program!

USDA is working with the City of Cleveland, The Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District and other partners on amending requirements in their EQIP program in order to extend its perks (funding for hoop house construction) to urban growers!

Urban Food Producers in Cleveland can apply for Environmental Qualitive Incentive Program funding from the USDA to purchase season extending hoop houses. You can contact the City of Cleveland Office of Sustainability at sustainability [at] city [dot] cleveland [dot] oh [dot] us for an application package. The first round deadline will be May 18, 2012.
